Mental Health Support Services
VAHS is expanding our in-house mental health, outreach, and social service capacities to address the wellness needs of our community.
Our Mental Health Support Services are based in an Indigenous worldview and work to meet people where they are at in their health journeys. We recognize the link between mental health/wellness challenges and the broader determinants of health (including but not limited to colonization and its impacts) and work to address these challenges in a holistic and person-centred/self-determined way, based on the experiences, needs, and goals of each person.
