We are passionate about making a difference in our community and are seeking a skilled Fundraiser/Grant Writer to help us secure the funding necessary to expand our impact.

Position Overview
The Fundraiser/Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and managing relationships with funders. This role is crucial in ensuring the sustainability of our programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, fundraising strategies, and nonprofit development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
  • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, reports, and funding applications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders and partners.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather data and stories that highlight our impact.
  • Create and manage a grant calendar to track deadlines and submissions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Monitor and report on grant progress, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
  • Stay current on trends in nonprofit funding and best practices in grant writing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, with a track record of successful proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with fundraising databases and tools is a plus.
