Last year's National Indigenous Health Conference was a huge success. The small, highly participatory working conference included people from all over Canada. Everyone there is involved in supporting Indigenous health and wellness and the diversity of voices ensured the ability to focus on the critical issues we need to address.
We are currently monitoring the COVID-19 situation in regards to the 2021 conference. The conference may have to be postponed to 2022, but we are exploring virtual options as well.
We will keep the community updates as the situation develops and a concrete plan emerges.
